Terms & Conditions

Effective date: July 12, 2026. These terms apply to all services provided by ClaimPrep Ontario.

Our services: ClaimPrep Ontario provides document preparation, filing guidance, and procedural information for self-represented individuals and small businesses in Ontario's Small Claims Court.

No legal advice or representation: We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or representation in court. Using our services does not create a lawyer-client or paralegal-client relationship. If you need legal advice, consult a lawyer or a paralegal licensed by the Law Society of Ontario.

Your responsibility: You remain responsible for your own case, including reviewing all documents before filing, meeting court deadlines, and the decisions you make. We cannot and do not guarantee any outcome.

Fees: Fees are communicated and agreed before work begins. They cover document preparation and guidance services only and do not include court filing fees or other disbursements.

Accuracy of information: Our work relies on the information you provide. You are responsible for its accuracy and completeness.

Limitation of liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClaimPrep Ontario's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees you paid for those services.

Privacy: We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing law: These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable in Ontario.
