Terms & Conditions

Effective date: July 12, 2026. These terms apply to all services provided by ClaimPrep Ontario.

Our services: ClaimPrep Ontario provides administrative and document support services for self-represented individuals and small businesses in Ontario courts, including the Small Claims Court, Family Court, Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court and Court of Appeal. Depending on the service purchased, our work may include evidence and exhibit organization, exhibit books, trial records, motion materials, document formatting, organization of client-provided information and evidence, exhibit assembly, pagination, indexing, PDF preparation, formatting of client-prepared content, general procedural information based on publicly available court resources, and administrative assistance with electronic submission processes where agreed.

No legal advice or representation: We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice or legal opinions concerning your rights, obligations, remedies, or likelihood of success; determine your legal position or litigation strategy; represent you before a court; or guarantee acceptance of documents or any particular result. Using our services does not create a lawyer-client or paralegal-client relationship. If you need legal advice, consult a lawyer or a paralegal licensed by the Law Society of Ontario.

Your responsibility: You remain responsible for your own case, including reviewing all documents before filing, meeting court deadlines, and the decisions you make. We cannot and do not guarantee any outcome.

Fees: Fees are communicated and agreed before work begins. They cover document preparation and guidance services only and do not include court filing fees or other disbursements.

Accuracy of information: Our work relies on the information you provide. You are responsible for its accuracy and completeness.

Limitation of liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClaimPrep Ontario's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees you paid for those services.

Privacy: We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing law: These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable in Ontario.
